Course Objectives
1. To teach the students general terminology and consept,
2. To give the knowledge about fire fighting, risks in shipyards, lifting equipment, etc.,
3. To make students conscious of basic occupational health and first aid topics,
4. To make students conscious about some serious industrial accidents,
5. To teach emergency response procedures and their applications.
Course Description
The Naval Architecture and Marine Engineers work in a heavy industry environment. In this lecture, it is aimed to teach students about possible industrial hazards and risks in the working
environment and related preventive actions
