Course ObThe goals of this course are as follows:
• To provide the students with general aspects of underwater acoustics, including the subjects given in the content of the lecture
• To improve the students’ ability to solve and interpret underwater acoustics problemsjectives

Course DescriptionUses of Sound in the Ocean, Sound Waves, Sound Propagation, Directivity in Radiation, Simple Radiation Theory, Directivity, Sonar Design, Sonar Applications, Ray Analysis, Underwater Noise
Course Outcomes
Students who pass the course will be able to 1.Solve SHM equations
2.Understand and solve AWE
3. Preliminary design of sonar based on sea water properties etc.
4. understand sound propagation and directivity
5. Perform Fourier analysis
6. Understand underwater noise
