2.Learn the different modes of inheritance and the genetic basics of diseases
3. Learn the main quantitative analyses used genetic analyses
4. Learn population and evolutionary genetics
5. Have an idea about genetic counselling and ethical issues

Course Description

Basic concepts of genetics; Mendelian and complex modes of inheritance; chromosomal inheritance; chromosomal defects; population genetics; evolutionary genetics; ethical issues in genetic research and counselling.
