Course Objectives 1. To teach the basic concepts and principles of structures, synthesis and using area of natural and synthetic macromolecules.
2.To teach the synthesis of chemical compounds for used to industry.
3.To improve the ability for students of organic production process
4.To give the importance of organic chemistry on the industry.
5. To help the students thinking positively, logical and to understand the importance of organic chemistry for engineering.
Course Description Functional aromatic compounds, carbohydrates, cellulose and their derivatives, amino acids, peptides and proteins, spectroscopic Methods for identification of organic structures, Industial raw materials, polymers, polymerization methods, ındustrial polymers, synthesis of industyrial polymers and their aplications, elastomers and resins, surfactans.
Course Outcomes Students who pass the course will be able to;
I. To apply the basic concepts and principles of structures, synthesis and using area of natural and synthetic macromolecules.
II. To use theoretical organic reactions knowledge for producing a industrial product.
III. To be able to separate natural and synthetic polymer in every aspect.
IV. To use spectroscopic Methodes for Identification of organic structures
V. To know how can be use additives and raw materials for using industrial production.
