Course Objectives		1. Introducing basic knowledge on design of cam mechanisms, single degree of freedom plane motion mechanisms and gear trains 2- Teaching kinematic analysis and force analysis of single degree of freedom plane motion mechanisms and getting basic programming skills
Course Description		Kinematic pairs, degree of freedom of mechanism, kinematic chains, design of linkages and cam mechanism, kinematic analysis of plane motion mechanism, gear trains, force analysis of plane motion mechanism
Course Outcomes		Students who pass the course will be able to: I. Get design skills on cam mechanism II. Get optimum mechanisms design and gear trains design skills III. Use various numerical techniques effectively for kinematic and force analysis of plane motion mechanisms
