2. Utilizing vocal and nonverbal communication elements and using appropriate visuals
3. Being able to deliver informative and persuasive presentation

Introduction and overview of the course. The Nature of Public Speaking; Communication Apprehension; presentation of introduction speech. Choosing Appropriate Topics for Your Audience; Listening; Outlining. Speaking to inform and Developing Effective Visual Aids to Support the Message. Narrowing Your Speech Topic; Audience Analysis. Researching Your Speech Topic. Presentation of Informative Speeches. Speaking to Persuade; Reasoning. Language and Delivery. Presentation of Persuasive Speeches. Speaking for Special Occasions. Presentation of Special Occasion Speeches
