Course Objectives		1.The ability to learn the textile technology components for developing product. 2.The ability to apply the textile technology on profitability, serviceability and produceability. 3.The ability to examine quality assurance in order to meet the merchant’s time-and-action calendar.
Course Description		Detailed exploration of the role of the textile and textile technology components in private label development. Examining the profitability, serviceability, and produceability of a textile product as well as address its ability to satisfy a target market. Students will actively take on the role of a merchandising adoption committee member, accepting or rejecting fabric and/or finished textile products.
