Course Objectives		1. To study important art and architectural inspiration eras and to apply them to contemporary designs 2. To discuss the changes in garment styles and to identify the possible causes of these changes 3. To develop research skills 4. To improve fashion terminology
Course Description		Lectures sequentially cover. Menswear and womenswear silhouettes, textile development, construction innovation, garment details, accessories and the arts and culture of each period will be studied. Historic inspiration as utilized by contemporary designers will be identified and analyzed.
