TEK 424E - Design of Knitted Fabrics

Course Objectives

1. to produce a fabric with different design on hand knitting machine
2. to analyze design and structure of different weft knitted fabric
3. to make studies related with quality assessment of different weft knitted fabrics.

Course Description

Prepare students to use hand knitting machines to create original ideas for knitted fabrics and garments. İnform students about knit designs for electronic V-bed machines. Quality assessments and design analyses for various weft knitted fabrics are also within the scope of the course.
