Course Objectives		1. To teach the fundamental and advanced techniques that are specific to fashion design using the Adobe Photoshop, 2. To teach the fundamental and advanced techniques that are specific to fashion design using Illustrator.
Course Description		Students learn the fundamental and advanced techniques that are specific to fashion design using the universal software programs, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. Course assignments emphasize digital design development stages, sketching techniques, color stories, line planning, silhouette, and fabric design.
Course Outcomes		I. Ability for demonstrating expertise in creatively using digital design software: menus, tools, palettes and functions specific to fashion design. II. Ability for showing applied growth in technical skills proficiency in design solutions through creative digital garment design and apparel line development. III. Ability for appropriately applying technical and creative solutions for the development & resolution of the design concept. IV. Ability for demonstrating the ability to effectively meet time and action calendar deadlines.
