Course Objectives		1. to give technological knowledge of weft knitting machinery 2. to give information about weft knitted fabrics and their properties 3. to give information about quality assessment in weft knitting
Course Description		Weft knitting machinery (circular and flat): yarn feeding systems, needle selection systems, take-down systems, weft knitted fabrics: their properties, design, analysis, and quality assessment
Course Outcomes		1. an ability to recognize different weft knitting technologies, their application fields & products, and limitations, 2. an ability to identify, analyze, and solve weft knitting problems, 3. an ability to analyze certain types of weft knitted fabrics, 4. an ability to realize the basic design concept of weft knit fabric on v-bed machines.
