Course Objectives
• To give knowledge on textile testing and give idea about quality and comparison.
• Ability to measure the properties of the major textile materials with regard to process and quality control.
• Examination of quality criteria and standards.
• An ability to design and perform the quality of textiles.
Course Description
Quality concept. Sampling. Physical and chemical testing of textile materials produced in various forms ranging from fiber to garment. Preparation of quality cards. Quality labels and quality certificates.
Course Outcomes
End of this lecture, the students will get such information of :
1. Textile test methods, applications and their limits on use.
2. Introduction of test equipments and their selection.
3. Selection of the tests according to the sample type.
