Definition of fiber, general information. Physical and chemical properties of fibers. Classification of
fibers. Properties of natural fibers (cotton, flax, wool, silk, etc.), their end-uses. Structure of fibers,
polymers, polymerization processes. Man-made fiber properties (viscose, acetate, polyamid,
polypropylene, polyester, polyacrylonitril, elastomers, etc.) and end-uses
