Course Objectives 1. Provide state of art in a current and graduate level research problem in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Guidance, Navigation, Controls and Avionics perspective.
2. Guide the students in doing research at that current and graduate level research problem and to have the students do a project on these topics.
Course Description This course is aimed at providing recent research and advances at graduate level problems in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Guidance, Navigation, Controls and Avionics perspective. Specifically, at each semester a different research area is explored giving in-depth understanding of the state-of-art and the current research focus at that area. In addition, the students are required to do a project as a part of the class.
Course Outcomes M.Sc./Ph.D. students who successfully pass this course gain knowledge, skill and competency in the following subjects;

1. Understand current research problems at Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Guidance, Navigation, Controls and Avionics perspective.
2. Extract state-of-art and to do comparative progress.
3. Provide further directions for research on the associated problem.
4. Show ability to do research and synthesize solutions.
5. Obtain the ability to do projects at this level
