Course Objectives 1. To provide students with basic knowledge on industrial enzymology applications and fermentation technology
2 To help students to develop skills in scientific literatue research on industrial enzymology applications. technology
3 To provide experience in oral and written communication.
Course Description Introduction to Industrial Enzymology, Enzymes used in the production of animal feeds; enzymes used in alcohol fermentations; biosensors and diagnostic kits; enzymes used in beer and wine productions; enzymes used in detergents; enzymes used in leather industry; enzymes used in bakery, in fruit processing, applications of enzymes in medicine, and textile industiries, enzymes used in chemical transformations; enzymatic inesterification of triglycerides
Course Outcomes Demonstrate and understanding of industrial enzymology
2 Apply basic engineering knowledge to the production and purification of biotechnological products.
3 Follow the new technologies of industrial enzymology
4 Demostrate the communication skills and proficiency.
