Course Objectives

This course, which will explain the details of the Production Programming subject described in the "Production Planning and Control" course in the Industrial Engineering undergraduate program, aims to explain all kinds of operations on the basis of mathematical method and algorithm, from determining the production routes of the manufacturing companies to the production of the work programs. In addition, it is desired to examine the recent developments, especially on job sequencing, at the level of articles.

Production Planning Functions, Work Routing, Work Loading (Gantt Chart, Linear Programming, Assignment Method, Index Method, Branch and Bound Algorithm, Job Sequencing (Gantt Chart, n Job-1 Machine State, Parallel Machines Usage, Static Problem in Job Sequencing (n Jobs-2 Machines, n Jobs-3 Machines and n Jobs-m Machines States), Dynamic Problems in Job Sequencing, Scheduling.
