Course Objectives		To broaden students’ general knowledge about strategic thinking, planning, & strategic options, To help students understand fundamentals of strategic analyses like PEST, SWOT, Value Chain, Strategic group, etc. To improve students’ skills in recognizing and conceptualizing problems pertaining to strategic management.
Course Description		Strategic management course deals with corporate level top management decision concepts suc as strategic intent, strateegic analyses, strategic planning, positioning, resource management, strategic control, etc.
Course Outcomes		To develop an understanding of how strategy can be crafted and strategic plans can be prepared. To develop an awareness about basic concepts pertaining to strategic vision, competitive positioning, organizational learning, strategic performance evaluation, institutionalization of innovativeness, etc. To develop decision making skills to deal with strategic problems.
