Course Objectives Teaching 2D-3D and 3D-2D projections and transformations in the Euclidian coordinate system
Providing skills for 3D modelling with 3D modelling software
Providing skills for porting 3D models to the game engine environment and designing interaction systems.
Course Description 3D modelling, polygon modelling, creating textures and materials, object modelling, vehicle modelling, character modelling, environment modelling, designing 3D game levels, importing assets to game engine, 3D animation, physics of 3D models, scripting 3D models, interaction with 3D models
Course Outcomes Students who pass the course will be able to:
Gain knowledge on Euclidian Space and coordinate systems.
Apply projections from 2D to 3D and 3D to 2D.
Design video game levels.
Model a video game level using 3D modelling software.
Import a designed and modeled map into the game engine environment.
Add object animations into a video game level and make it functional.
Add lighting objects into a video game level and make it functional.
Add event, environmental and external sounds into a video game level and make it functional.
