KMM 542E - Project Management in Process Engineering

Course Objectives

1. To provide information about process engineering.
2. Establishing an information basis about project management, problem solving methods, experimental design and process control means, which are the most basic tools of process engineers.
3. To create a background on the principles of "lean production and management" in the use of these tools by process engineers.

Course Description

Basic information about process engineering, process and product development, conventional & agile project management approaches, statistical process control and its role in project management, statistical project management and six sigma, problem solving techniques, experiment design, lean management and manufacturing principles.
