MDP 661E - Advanced Multimedia Design

Course Objectives

1. By building on existing skills in hardware and software design, to teach students to apply general design principles to specific compositional challenges.
2. Through discussion of seminal multimedia works, to provide students with an understanding of the main compositional challenges in the field of multimedia.
3. In the course of several design projects, to teach the students to plan, manage and problem solve efficiently during the development phase.

Course Description

Development of specialized tools for multimedia composition and performance. Significant works, theories and aesthetic issues in the field of multimedia composition will be examined.
