Course Objectives
1-To create infrastructure related to culture, dance culture and identity concepts and definition
2-To have knowledge about world dance cultures.
3-To know different dance cultures and distinguish from each other
4-To analyse dance culture, in social, cultural, economic and political contexts
Course Description
Ritual, social and folk dances of Asia, Europe and America such as flamenco, Tango, Balkan folk dances, modern dance and classical ballet, in cultural and historical context. Social, historical, and aesthetic factors that have influenced all these dances development and social function.
Course Outcomes
1-To create infrastructure related to culture, dance culture and identity concepts and definition
2-To have knowledge about world dance cultures.
3-To know different dance cultures and distinguish from each other
