Course Objectives
Project Management is a multi-disciplinary activity, which aims to achieve the predetermined objectives under limited resource and time conditions. This course aims to provide a system approach that every manager should acquire. The course is designed to include almost all technical and managerial aspects of projects. Topics vary from creating new project ideas to project selection and evaluation, project organization, planning, budgeting, scheduling, monitoring, controlling, auditing, and termination.
Course Description
he course relies on a combination of lectures, case studies, MS project laboratories and assignments. There will be one midterm and one final exam. The students are expected to attend the lectures regularly and actively take part in-class assignments. Each group assignment and case studies will be accomplished by a group of 2-3 students .The grading of the course will be based on the following weighting scheme:
