Course Description		The study of instrumentation and orchestration taught through the study of orchestral instruments alone (flute, clarinet, oboe, bassoon, horn, trombone, tuba, piano, percussion, harp, strings, etc,) and in combination, Instruments’ range, timbral qualities, and attributes, Techniques of writing for instruments,
Course Outcomes		Graduate students who successfully pass this course gain the following knowledge skills and competencies: 1. Technical knowledge about each instrumental family and subdivision, 2. Historical knowledge about each instrumental family, 3. Appropriate notation and composing for each instrumental family 4. Ability to discuss critically repertoire for each instrument family throughout historical periods,
