Course Outcomes Graduate students who successfully pass this course gain the following knowledge, skills and
competencies;
1. Knowledge on the political and social life and function of music in Safiyüddin Era.
2. Competancy on analyzing the makam music theory of Safiyüddin Era.
3. Knowledge on forming process of 17 notes tuning system.
4. Skilll on analyzing scales, ratios and usuls in Şerefiyye and Kitabü’l- Edvar
5. Knowledge on the instruments, composers, structural futures of music and
performance practices in the Safiyüddin Era.
