Course Objectives

1. To get knowledge related with research approaches and types,
2. To gather information related with the research area, and to be aware of processes on evaluation and analysis, research method and techniques and reflect them within research studies.
3. To transfer a problem into a research problem, to plan the time, process and the scope of the study and to be able to write an essay/paper.

Course Description

Concept of research; research approaches and types; qualitative and quantitative aspects of research; problem definition and formalization; formation of the hypothesis; research design and pre-planning stage: content, procedures, and time planning; strategies, methods and techniques of data gathering; analyzing and evaluation of data; communicating the research results: techniques of writing report, articles and papers; research ethics: problems of reliability and validity in research.
