Course Objectives		1. To help students develop critical thinking by focussing on a single musician. 2. To provide students with an insight into a limited body of work and its social impact. 3. To guide students in developing interdisciplinary perspectives through an in-depth case study.
Course Description		To critically evaluate one or two important musicians, selected by the instructor, from any genre. Exploring meanings in and of their music through ethnomusicological, musicological, compositional, performative, historical, philosophical, and theoretical perspectives. Writing final projects with the aim of publishing them in a suitable print or internet publication.
