Course Objectives Teaching contemporary project management techniques that are used for project planning, execution and control in project-based organizations and provide substantial saving from time and cost.
To teach at least one orıject management software.
Course Description Project Definition, Main Stages of Project Management, Phases of Project Planning and Project Organization Structures, Arrow Diagrams, Source Planning and Improving Project, Linear Programming at Determination of Improvement Cost and Critical Time, Project control, Project Termination, Project Risk Management, Preparation and Evaluation of Project Proposal, Computer Aided Project Management.
Course Outcomes The following learning outcomes are aimed in the course:
1. Learn the main stages of project management.
2. Learn the phases of project planning and project organization structures.
3. Learn Critical Path Method (CPM).
4. Learn Program Evaluation and Review Technique (PERT).
5. Make source planning and improve project.
6. Use Linear Programming at determination of improvement cost and critical time.
7. Learn project control and project termination.
8. Learn the preparation and evaluation of project proposals.
9. Make Computer Aided Project Management.
