Course Objectives
1. To provide with an understanding of the principles and processes of financial management.
2. To inform about financing decisions and their consequences.
3. To show how to value companies and financial assets.
Course Description
Introduction to financial management, accounting concepts, financial statements and their analysis, financial planning, working capital and financing decision, financial markets and instruments, time value of money, stock and bond valuation, operational and financial leverage,
management of working capital, risk and return, capital budgeting, cost of capital
Course Outcomes
Students who successfully pass this course gain knowledge, skills and proficiency in the
following subjects:
I. Ability to identify principles and means of financial management.
II. Ability to prepare and analyze financial statements.
III. Knowledge about financial markets dynamics.
IV. Ability to value financial assets.
