Course Objectives
1. Improve research skills.
2. Develop academic writing skill
Course Description
Reading, discussion, analysis, and critique of a topic that will result in a publishable paper. Students will analyze and discuss materials drawn from current publications of texts, recordings, multimedia, and internet sources, working with the instructor on producing a finished paper taking into account style and content
Course Outcomes
1. Students become aware of the scope of preparation needed to prepare an academic article.
2. Students will be able to edit their writing according to disciplinary norms.
3. Students will be able to engage in current academic dialogue.
4. Students will update their search strategies and research techniques
