Course Objectives
In today's competitive business environment, an increasing number of business enterprises expands their marketing activities to international context. More sophisticated marketing skills are demanded and marketing personnel require a thorough understanding of current theory and practice to meet these needs. The main objective of this course is to introduce you to the critical issues of international marketing environment and familiarize you with the marketing strategies and practices relevant to international markets. The course examines specific topics involved in developing global marketing strategy and in conducting marketing operations on an international as opposed to a domestic scale.
Course Description
The course will be consisting of interactive lectures along with the guest speakers’ presentations, weekly assignments, and a term project. Preparation and participation by students are an essential part of the course. The course also involves substantial teamwork where students are expected to utilize effective interactive skills and make presentations.
