Course Description		Increase in housing demand due to increase in urban population has caused new policies to be created in order to decrease housing shortages and these new policies have affected urban structures with new shapes. In this lesson, these new policies will be scrutinized; historical developments and problems in housing markets will be examined; world and turkish residential areas will be analyzed; conclusions and suggestions will be made.
Course Outcomes		1 - Learn housing market problems and historical development process of housing market. 2 - Understand influential factors of housing demand and housing supply. 3 - Comprehend new policies produced with the idea of decreased housing shortages. 4 - Learn spatial effects of housing policy. 5 - Discuss solutions of housing problems.
