Course Description
The course History and Theory of Interior Architecture II aims to critically examine the developments in space, culture, and daily life in the Afro-Eurasian world from the 13th to the 18th century (early modern period). One of the primary objectives of this course is to trace cultural encounters and exchanges during this period of increasing integration among societies and to discuss the background and formal characteristics of spatial practices. Within this framework, the course will analyze European and Turkish-Islamic architectures from a comparative perspective within specific thematic frameworks
