Course Objectives		To give an ability to achieve layout and control measurements of engineering structures. 2. To give abilities to achieve safety measurements, orientations of structures, and one-man measurements. 3. To give the concept of required and achieved accuracy
Course Description		Definition of accuracy measures, Concept of setting outs, Setting outs and control measurements of various engineering/industrial constructions, high accuracy bathymetric measurements and setting outs of various marine engineering constructions, Orientation of a structure to specific direction, way finding methods in nature.
Course Outcomes		Students who pass the course will be able to 1- Specify the accuracy and precision criteria 2- Apply the basics of vertical and horizontal lay out 3- Planning and implementing the surveying projects according to regulations 4- Understand the current technological applications about the subjects regarding the course
