Course Objectives Analysis and design of ship motions and ship maneuvering both in calm water and in waves. Ability and experience to compute the ship motions and design the ship in terms of seakeeping.
Course Description Investigate wave mechanics. Analyse ship motions bot in calm water and in waves, by strip theory. Derivation of equations of ship maneuvering, Rudder design and maneuvering trials.
