Course Objectives

Course Description

This course will introduce to the evolutionary stages of technology from prehistoric times to the present day.
Basic concepts, Relationship between technology, sciences, and society, The nature of technology and its interaction with different cultures, Turning points in history of technology, Technology in prehistoric times, Technology in Ancient Greek and Hellenistic Periods, Technology in Roman Period, Technology in middle ages, Technology in Renaissance and Enlightenment period, Technology in Ottoman, Technology in early modern age, Technology in modern age are the subjects of this course.
